Big Game - Big Win - Now Big Expectations?

The best thing about winning a big game vs Michigan is not having to hear certain people complain about Taylor Martinez and his decision-making, Bo Pelini’s leadership, Tim Beck’s play-calling, or JP’s defense. Wait…who am I kidding? All of those things will keep happening. Unfortunately, now we will have to deal with the other side. People making plans for the Big 10 Championship Game and thinking about reservations to the Rose Bowl. Not so fast my friends.

It’s a place where you can buy ANYTHING with Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Rodger’s picture or autograph and Tommy Frazier’s “Run” is still talked about in small town coffee shops. In Nebraska, you had better be able to move the ball and score points. Mission accomplished in Week 1!

Getting Defensive…Hopefully

Defense win Championships. We hear it all the time so it must be true, right? If that is the case, the Huskers might have their work cut out for them this year.

Testing 1 2 3…Away We Go

Over the course of my amateur media career, I’ve “gone live”, tape delayed, blogged, tweeted, tumbled, posted, edited, and even used a pencil & paper. Thanks to the people at the Hub, I have a new way to spew forth opinions, ideas, topics, and thoughts. SportsHub is now part of my vocabulary…we’ll see how badly I can screw this one up.
